Main interest in materials for electrochemistry, in particular for solid oxide fuel cells and high temperature electrolysers.

Graduated in Chemistry (Inorganic Chemistry) at the University of Zaragoza (2001). Researcher at the Chemistry Department of the Heriot-Watt University (Edinburgh, U. K., 2001) with Prof. A.J. Welch. Ph.D. in Science (Cum Laude) in 2005 with Prof. VM Orera and A Larrea. Research Associate at the Department of Materials (Imperial College London), with Prof. JA Kilner and Prof. SJ Skinner (2006-2009). Researcher at ICMA from 2009. Guest Lecturer at Universidad de Zaragoza (“Máster en Física y Tecnologías físicas” from 2011-2016, and “European Master in Renewable Energy" in 2012). Invited lecturer in 2013 (Course “Introducción a la química de los materiales”) and 2015 (Course “Introdución a la química de estado sólido") in Universidad Metropolitana de Ciencias de la Educación (UMCE, Santiago de Chile). Supervision of 10 BSc, 4 MSc student projects and 2 PhD thesis. Participation in 23 research projects, three of them as PI, as well as 4 industrial contracts. Co-author of one licensed patent and one transfer of know-how with Saint-Gobain CREE. Co-author of 45 SCI papers, 2 invited reviews, one book chapter (Wiley) and 40 other publications. Co-author more than 100 communication in conferences, including 23 invited talks. Editorial board member of “Journal of Ceramics” (Hindawi Publishing Group), "Heliyon" (Elsevier), and “Frontiers in Energy Research: Fuel Cells” (Nature Publishing Group). h index = 18, 1136 citations.
